Christie Coran (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) is a Los Angeles based actor with a love for classical text, improv, film, music, and courageous, truthful acting. Recent credits include Annabella/Pamela/Margaret in “The 39 Steps” at Rubicon Theatre Company and Rachel Crabbe in “One Man, Two Guvnors” at A Noise Within (StageSceneLA “Scenie” award-winner for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Comedy-- Large Theatre). 

Originally from Chicago, Christie holds an MFA in Acting from the ACA at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in D.C., and a BFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University. She has also trained with the School at Steppenwolf in Chicago and the Moscow Art Theatre. Christie was an Emerging Professional Resident at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, a member of the Next Stage Ensemble at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and a member of the iO Chicago Pool team "Glogurt."

Christie has also worked as a teaching artist with 24th Street Theatre in Los Angeles, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Writers Theatre, and Northlight Theatre.
